Iceland produces some great music - this is indie folk singer Olof Arnalds (oh, she has a song with Bjork called Surrender). Her first album, Vid Og Vid graces my kitchen bench each morning.. and evening, Ive been listening to her a lot lately, and I also very much like the album cover

WAR PAINT

This has been one of my favourite images of late. Its from the new Neil Marshall film, Centurion (this is Olga Kurylenko) and I think she looks beautiful. Needless to say that war paint is by far one of my most prized adorning features, I also love the harsh snowy terrain + Native warrior princess + loads of wolf and rabbit fur. Perfect.

Matte Black

Lucky me, I get to wear eye correctors! But fortunately, it is very fun to choose new frames. I desperately wanted round frames a la 1960s Sartre, however no where had them in stock, so I settled for some matte black babys (middle image). Very excited to debut them out at the library.

Mirage

Mirage has the coolest 70s-esque magazine covers. So much hazy pastel colours and long hair and plaited rags and nakedness. Henrik Purienne shot a few issues, although to be fair, most of it looks alot like his influence.

Oh look, its the Olsen twins again. I do like the look of stacks of rings, however typically hype it may be. I also like that they designed some of these rings (one finger length silver one which isn't shown) from one of their labels, Elizabeth and James. The second image is from FashionToast and features the cage ring from Pamela Loves first collection and a Yves Saint Laurent Rive Gauche ring, which I coincidentally have Kym Ellery style collection plastered on my wall, she has the turquoise version. Pretty stuff.

Diamond Dogs - New tattoo, done by a dear friend.. thinking of getting chrysanthemums on the opposite arm. 

Dirt - Demeter (NYC) make these amazing single scent fragrances (with the idea of layering them with other scents to formulate youre own) available at World Beauty. Dirt was my favourite because it was earthy and grounded and started to blend in with my own natural aroma (which apparently is laundry powder).
