Catch the Light

Feathers and fur, swaying dream catchers, dim light at dusk, Native American emblems, turquoise stones and wooden beads, wild animals, flowers on hills, dinky old sheds with dull windows, long straw grass and summer, road trips on desert roads, friends and sand, purple and blue hues... all the things that emerge when thinking about an idealistic home town.

Danger for space-walking astronauts

"Known as 'space junk', the detritus consists of derelict spacecraft and dead satellites floating around the earth's orbit."
It has taken humans only 5 decades to fill the outer orbits of space with man-made rubbish
And the saddest part is the androcentric nature of how space (amongst other distant entities) affects us, in how it is "harmful to astronauts". Maybe we should be considering our environment as an entity in itself
I wish it looked as though Antoine de Saint-Exupery had depicted it in Le Petit Prince.. so unaffected
