Pieces of Hong Kong.

Homemade vege soup and wholegrain bread made by Mimi.
Best meal I had.

View from Mimi and Abi's apartment in Kowloon.

Kowloon.

The never ending buildings.

Mimi's wholemeal bread.

Hotpot dinner. The best way to cook your food!

Rolls of leather. Hmm.

Streetlife.

Chungking Mansions. One of my all-time favourite movies.

Bamboo scaffolding. Amazing.
This was taken from a fancy hotel where we had our last meal -
a delicious buffet with all sorts of treats and
so much dessert and fruit, I went mad.

Kowloon.

The famous Peking duck dish.

The view of cargo from our hotel.

Some really famous coffee ice-cream.
I didn't really get the reference.

Me eating the really famous coffee ice-cream.

An exhibition in a Macau art gallery.

Mimi & Abi.

This was my favourite. Bears having lunch!
It's C.Bear and Panda.

The gloriousness of Macau.

St. Paul's cathedral - Macau.

The grunge.

The registry office.

Travel photos from HongKong.

Tribal Markets.

The local tribe (Black Hmong and Red Dzao) markets in Sapa, Vietnam. An amazing abundance of colourful fabrics, haberdashery, old tribal jackets, skirts and bags, hats and jewellary. All hand sewn, embroidered, stitched and mended.

Tea.

My favourite. Tea. Tea in Asia.

Boutique, Hanoi.

This was a cute little boutique in Hanoi, Vietnam.

Som Tum.

My favourite dish in Asia, papaya salads!

The Thai and Laos versions differ a little, but basically contain shaved papaya, baby eggplant, tomato, fish sauce, lemon or lime juice, cabbage, shrimps or baby crabs, peanuts and a whole lot of chilli (small and red and very hot). Best served with sticky rice, grilled chicken and a Beerlao or Chang!

Nice Space.

'Tis a cute little shop I stumbled across in the outskirts of Pai, Thailand. Full of wonderful bits and pieces, running a theme of mute coloured linen, brass fittings, natural earthy motifs, sweet drawings and contrasting textures (I liked the rough hemp with cow hide and colourful balls of string and pompoms with wood and cloth).
