Pieces of Melbourne.

Staring out the window (a very nice window frame, wooden blinds, peeling paint and a concrete sill), meeting my neighbour Phil, from the level below / drinking Jasmine tea / eating a quinoa + vegetable + nectarine + peanut salad.

Melbourne is a nice place.

Perfection.

Black tee / a naked Kate / headdress tattoo / grunge + elegance. So dreamy, it is perfect.

Wet Winged Friends

My friends Lucy + Darian are in a band called Wet Wings.

They are simply amazing, and Ive had their song Running Like a Man stuck in my world for many days.

They came to stay with me in Melbourne last weekend, I saw them play with Mountain Man (above), another amazing sound from the United States.

I bought the last of their Skin to Soil cassettes and then felt bad that someone else that didn't know them could have purchased it.

And then I got over it and played Running Like a Man on repeat.

Much love to them kids.

Twins, New York

The Olsen Twins / New York City apartment / oversized shirts with heels / framed by a doorway / polished wooden floorboards / green + black / wrist adornment / wavy hair. I like.

Little Konicas first roll of film in Melbourne.

Not the most ideal outcome - the negative got completely destroyed in the camera,

Nevertheless, she had fun.

The images are in fact from a day a friend and I spent in the Carlton gardens, complete with a few window frame shots (my favourite of the structural variety), and of course, some feet shots.

Lesson learnt for next time!
